Yesterday morning, I bought a return flight ticket for October. Of course, because of that, I went over budget (it’s not like I don’t have money at all, but I’ve set myself a spending limit for the week; I did’t want to go over it, so it bothers me a little that I have). Ah well, I’ll be grand. This morning I even added to the wallet slip-up with another €8.80 for two coffees and a croissant (I only noticed now, while writing about it a few hours later, that it probably wasn’t enough – I reckon the barista forgot to charge me for the croissant).
During the day I did my steps here and there. I
walked to the other side of the river and to one of the retail parks on the outskirts of town, so I can
say with certainty that it was a beautiful day: warm, sunny, not windy at all.
Below, the Étaín mural by Nina Valkhoff; a panorama of the town from the hill; and hawthorn berries already turned red.
