A battle fought in a beanie

After the walk yesterday I felt somewhat odd, and by evening I already knew why: my sinuses. The headache bloomed early morning; in the last few hours of sleep I had my forehead tucked under a pillow. I had breakfast with my beanie on, no joke. Fred started the day much earlier, he'd been working since six, so I had to walk to the bus stop.

Lucky me, the weather wasn't bad at all; not as sunny as yesterday, but warm enough to keep me comfy. In town I helped myself with a bit of caffeine, and the classroom was nicely heated, thank gods. My husband surprised me with a call around the time I finished working, just as he was on his lunch break. I had planned to walk to his place, but he decided to use his time off to give me a lift; that way, I wasn't exposed to unpleasant conditions for even a second.

Started feeling better by early afternoon. It's nearly ten now, seems like I've won that battle. It was fought well, without any pharmaceuticals, so in grand style, indeed.
